I have been married for 33 years to my husband Mark, and we have two sons: Ryan is an
engineer for General Motors Corp. in Michigan, and John recently relocated to Portland, Oregon with Sherwin
Williams. I have worked at the Worthington Community Center as a program leader and recreation supervisor for
29 years. I began my journey at CCPC over 20 years ago; my first involvement was with the 8:00 choir under
Gary Everts. I also sang for the original contemporary services on Saturday evenings with Wally Brath, and then
Ron and Nancy Nocks, for the Wednesday evening services in the chapel with Pastor David, and I continue
singing today in the Chancel Choir. I have volunteered for Thanksgiving Food baskets, Adopt-a-child, and 5 years
as a God's Gardner. This past summer I subbed in the summer preschool Sunday school classes and LOVED IT!
I am so looking forward to enhancing my relationship with God by serving the missions of Central College.

Daily Scripture

  • Romans 13:9-10
“The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”
