Cynthia Cameron - 2018 Class
Gary and Cynthia Cameron joined Central College in November of 2006 after retiring and downsizing to Westerville. We had both been raised in Presbyterian churches in Martins Ferry and Springfield, Ohio but had lapsed in our church attendance. We are a blended family of six adult children, six grandchildren and spouses. Cynthia was an Administrative Assistant for Siemens Building Technologies. Upon our joining the church we became active in our food pantry and the Mid Ohio Food Bank. Cynthia has been active in the Presbyterian Women’s Board, and became a Deacon in 2009. In 2012 she and Gary accepted to be coordinators for the Seniors Friends Group. That mission became a source of joy and commitment for both of them. Being asked to become an Elder in 2015 was and is an honor to serve our Lord. Sadly, Gary passed to be with our Lord in May, 2016.
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present or the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 9:38-39
