Meets:Sunday morning at 11:00 in the Memorial Dining Room (next to the kitchen). We will be reviewing Brian McLaren's new book, "A New Kind of Christianity" with the objective of becoming far better followers of Jesus Christ.  Here, McLaren lists 10 questions that should be answered as we intensify our faith and action.


Attributes Of God
Series 2
NEW! Beginning Sunday, April 11 at 9:30 Jack Cook will lead an adult Sunday School class on the attributes of God - series 2. SERIES 1 PARTICIPATION IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS CLASS. This class will benefit in 3 ways: 1)your relationship with God will become closer; 2)your faith and trust in God will be strengthened; and 3)your understanding of adoration and praise in your prayers will improve. Bring your Bible, a note pad, and a pen. How many attributes of God can you name?  This study will  take place in Room 219.

Bible 201 MEETS: Sunday morning at 9:30 in the Georgetown Conference Room.
Luke-ing for Jesus” To be more like Him. This is our hope as we begin our study of the life of Jesus as told by Luke. Bring your Bible, a cup of Joe and come on over to Georgetown, (the building directly north of the Sanctuary, across the driveway) at 9:30

Disciple MEETS: Each Tuesday from 7p-9:30p in Room AB. And another class meets Thursdays from 7-9:30pm in Room 110.These courses of study are led by Dan Rose and Kathy Johnston.

Faithbuilders Meets: Sunday morning at 11AM in Room 110 (September-June).We will be using The International Bible Lesson Commentary for Sunday school lessons . For the fall will be studying Genesis,winter will be Luke, and spring we will end with Chronicles,Daniel, Haggai,and Nehemiah. Family Connections MEETS:We invite you to our Family Connections Sunday School class in Room 203 at 9:30 on Sunday mornings. Currently completing our study on Psalms and then doing a study on Job. Comprised of mostly 40 somethings to early 50's, most have children ranging from late elementary to college age. The class, led by members, study a variety of topics from books of the Bible, Bible based studies on parenting and relationships, and also challenging issues facing Chrisitians today.

Homebuilders MEETS: Sunday morning at 9:30 in the Lounge. We meet in the Lounge above the kitchen at 9:30. Plan to join us for good food and fellowship. Homebuilders’ study topics appeal to adults with multi-generation families; many of us care for aging parents, adult children and/or grandchildren. Members take turns facilitating discussions.

Releasing The Power of The Holy Spirit Through Prayer: Prayer Ministry Training MEETS: Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm. Contact Barbara Huff at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. This class is to equip those who feel called to intercessorry prayer for others or prayer ministry at CCPC or for anyone who desires to a deeper understanding of how the Lord heals through prayer.

Search and Discover MEETS: Sunday morning at 9:30 in Memorial Library. This is a free-flowing Bible study group of all ages and stages of adult responsibilities and challenges. The goal of the class is to help each member in their knowledge, understanding, and application of God's Word, as one develops an even closer walk with the Lord Jesus. 

Currently- the class will learn the word of the Lord by studying the Book of John using the NIV Life Application Study Bible. It is commonly agreed that this gospel reflects more of the spirituality of Jesus than the other three gospels. New class members are welcomed at any time.

The Teaching Messiah: The Sermon On The Mount Meets: Sunday mornings at 9:30 In Room 110 (Academy Teachers’ Lounge/Conference). The class outline includes The call of Mercy, The Call to Faith, and The Call to Justice, and is being taught by Michael Farrington. For more info, call Barbara Bickerstaff at the church office.
