- Back To School Supplies -
The Mission Committee is gathering supplies for those in need. This would include the food pantry clients and anyone else in the congregation that might need some assistance. Please drop donations in the bins marked for the food pantry. Here are some needs:
70 ct 1 subject notebook, 24 ct crayons, 12” ruler, watercolors, facial tissues, 12 ct colored pencils, pink eraser
pkgs of 8-tab dividers, folders with pockets, Elmers 4 oz glue, glue sticks, #2 pencils, 150 ct filler paper, wide or narrow rule, 8 or 10 washable count markers, 5” pointed student scissors, school box, back pack.
The congregation in need is encouraged to call Paul Sprankle through the church office at 614-882-2347 to arrange to pickup what your family might need.

CCPC & Mid-Ohio Food Bank - 2009 has been a breakthrough year at the MidOhio Food Bank! They now serve 23 Ohio counties from their new facility in Grove City. The number of volunteers from CCPC has grown and that commitment to this mission has been important to our own food pantry. The work requires standing for two hours, light lifting, sorting and boxing packaged food items. The food bank organizes the work for us. We depart on the church bus from the Kirk Hall lot at 5:30 and arrive back to the church by 8:30 pm. - Bryden House Furniture Donation - If you have donations for the church's outreach to Bryden House it would be greatly appreciated. Pick-Up times 8:30-11:30 am this Saturday, May 15 from your home. We cannot store the furniture, so we deliver the same morning to Bryden House. Furniture requests include: mattress, bed frame, couch, sofa, chairs, kitchen table/chairs, lamps, TV's, coffee table, etc. Contact Chris Thompson thru the church office at 882-2347 to arrange a pick-up time. Donation tax forms will be available. If you can help pick up and deliver or have a truck/van you can drive, please contact Chris to coordinate.

- Raising Young Disciples - Step into the classroom during the summer months to give our regular teachers a break. Sign up for just one month, ro all three. Contact Laurie Baker.

- Children's Check-in Volunteers - As our children arrive for Sunday School they check-in at the Welcome Cnter-Kirk desk with their parents, for attendance and security nametags. Volunteers are needed for the 10:30-11:10 shift. Each helper commits to one Sunday a month. Experience with a computer is required but training on the specific basic program will be provided. - Nursery Project - Please bring baby items in for Church Women United project. Most needed items are newborn diapers, receiving blankets, dresses and socks. For questions, contact Julia Groves though the church office at 614-882-2347. The donation drop-off area is in the south end of the building by the pop machine, beyond the kitchen. Please clearly label all items "LAYETTE".

- Now thru August - Infant and Toddler Sunday Volunteers - Attention all parents! Infants and toddler world needs your help. Please help us by volunteering one Sunday a month at 9:30 or 11:00. Please email us if you are interested at

- CCPC Opportunities Of Need - At the Congregational Meeting in January 2010, a list of needs was circulated by the CCPC Board of Trustees, called the CCPC Opportunities For You list. The needs around Central College Church have been identified as items which you as an individual or your group or organization might like to take on to complete. Anyone can sign up - parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles! Online Orders are due by 9:00 pm Monday Night and you can pay online with their PrestoPay service or choose “check to organization” and pay by check or credit card. Gift cards arrive at the school on Fridays.

- Volunteer with CCPC Media Ministry - Have you been looking for that just-right opportunity to “plug-in” to the life of CCPC? This may be your answer. Volunteers are needed in the Sunday Morning Media Ministry Teams. Volunteers are on duty every 3rd Sunday morning from 9am-12pm.
