The Central College Mission Committee is recommending another mission to help Haiti and Honduras—Lifeline Christian Mission. Mix. Weigh. Seal. Ship. In four simple steps, you give hope, as you package nutritious meals for hungry kids and families around the world! This fun, hands-on project is meaningful for all ages...from kids to grandparents. Located right here in Westerville, Lifeline packages shelf-stable meals and sends them around the world where hunger and malnutrition are a daily struggle. Even though the meals go all over the world, their largest concentration is in Haiti, with a slightly smaller impact in Honduras—both are places CCPC has mission projects.
To participate, you make a donation and pack bags of food. There are suggested amounts to donate for the items you pack, but they will accept donations of any size. When you get there, you watch a video, put on a hair net and gloves, then put the four items in the plastic bags, weigh the bag, seal it, and put it in the pile to be boxed and shipped. Easy!
