Thank you for joining us in worship this morning! Here are the congregational lyrics and prayers for our 9:30am Drive-in service. You can tune into the service at 89.5 FM on your car radio.

Responsive Call to Worship:

Leader: I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from?

People: My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Leader: He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

People: The LORD watches over you—the LORD is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

Leader: The LORD will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life;

People: The LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Opening Hymn: Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;
Holy, holy, holy! merciful and mighty!

God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!

Holy, holy, holy! all the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,

Who wert, and art, and evermore shall be.

Holy, holy, holy! though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eye of sinfulness Thy glory may not see,
Only Thou art holy; there is none beside
Thee Perfect in power, in love, and purity.

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
All Thy works shall praise Thy name, in earth and sky and sea;
Holy, holy, holy! merciful and mighty!

God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!!

Unison and Silent Prayers of Confession

Forgiving Lord, we have fallen short time and time again. You have given us your word, both in scripture and in Son, you have promised us your presence, both in Spirit and in community, and you have graced us with your kingdom, both in teaching and in service. Even so, we neglect, ignore, and reject your purposes for us. We do not love what you love. We do not embrace what you embrace. We do not defend what you have called us to defend. Have mercy on us, O God of all ages past and all hope for years to come. Forgive us for what we do and what we fail to do. And with your gifts, promises, and grace, continue working in our lives that we might receive full life in Jesus Christ, now and forevermore. Amen.

Response: Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah | vs. 3

When I tread the verge of Jordan,
Bid my anxious fears subside;
Death of death, and hell’s destruction,
Land me safe on Canaan’s side;
Songs of praises, songs of praises
I will ever give to Thee,
I will ever give to Thee.

Hymn: What a Friend We Have in Jesus

What a Friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!

O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged:
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
Can we find a friend so faithful,
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
Take it to the Lord in prayer!

Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge–
Take it to the Lord in prayer!

Do your friends despise, forsake you?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield you,
you will find a solace there.

Doxology:
Praise God from whom all blessing flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;

Praise Him above, ye heavenly host:
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.

Hymn: How Firm a Foundation

How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord,
Is laid for your faith in God's excellent Word!
What more can he say than to you God has said,
To you who for refuge to Jesus have fled?

"Fear not, I am with you, O be not dismayed,
For I am your God and will still give you aid;
I'll strengthen you, help you, and cause you to stand
Upheld by My righteous, omnipotent hand.

"When through the deep waters I call you to go,
The rivers of sorrow shall not overflow;

For I will be near you, your troubles to bless,
And sanctify to you your deepest distress."
