Jesus and Me Children’s Ministry

FALL FUN AT CCCS!

Fun was had by all at The Fall Festival sponsored by CCCS Parent-Teacher Fellowship and Children's Ministry!  Over 400 people enjoyed face painting, pumpkin decorating, sensory corn pits, walking tacos (dinner), bounce houses, games, fall raffle baskets and even fairy hair.  Trunk or Treat (or should we say Table or Treat) was moved inside due to the weather, but it was still a huge success! :)

A warm thank you to all who volunteered, donated items and attended to make this event a huge success!  It was a wonderful sense of community for all of Central College!

About Jesus and Me

We adore kids at Central College Presbyterian Church and are devoted to providing a secure and caring atmosphere in which children may learn through innovative, age-appropriate curriculum and activities. We want to provide children with a personal encounter with God as well as the chance to build a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Things to know:

What will my child learn at JAM?

As leaders, we are dedicated to creating a secure environment where every kid feels loved, valuable, and welcomed. We understand the importance of teaching kids to love and follow Jesus early. We are enthusiastic about our new curriculum from "Orange," a well-known pioneer in Children's Ministry, called First Look for Nursery through Preschool and 252 Kids for K to 3rd. With fantastic music, films, and activities to inspire them on their faith journey, it will appeal to both children and leaders. FourSixTeens, a new program for 4th and 5th graders, is also available. There is excitement all around.

How do I check-in my child?

On your first visit to a service at Central College, follow the directions on the yellow walls. If you can't find it, one of our pastors or volunteer host team members will gladly assist you!

A JAM Kids volunteer will greet you at check-in, ready to meet your family and teach you how JAM works. We'll need some information from you at that time to check your kid in, including the name of a family member, your child's name and birthday, your address, phone number, and any special instructions. We'll be there every step of the process, right up until you send your kids off in the proper area, so ask away! After you've checked in your child for the first time, you'll be able to utilize the self-check-in option at one of the kiosks with ease!

Where do my kids go?

The younger children are located in Room 105 on the main level, while the older children are located in the Activity Area downstairs. Our Kiosk greeters can lead you in the right direction.

How do I know my kids are safe?

One of our top objectives at Central College Kids is safety. That is why we have a check-in process in place. You'll be given identical identity stickers when you check in. Your kid must wear their name tag sticker, and you must maintain the corresponding tag. Following the service, you will present the leader your matching tag to have your kid freed from their room.

Every JAM volunteer leader is screened, goes through a background check, and receives the necessary training from our team. Additionally, during each activity, our halls are monitored by background-checked security and cameras to ensure your child's safety and security.

If we need to contact you during the service, we can do so through text message or by displaying your child's last name and identifying code on the displays.

If you have any further questions, please let us know!
